where are the best places for night life in seoul?

Im going to seoul in 2 weeks and will be staying there for 3 days (fri-sun). I%26#39;m in my early 20%26#39;s so i%26#39;m looking forward to party a lot, probably until 5 or 6 in the morning so I need some suggestions on which areas in seoul offers a great nightlife for a young person like me. I%26#39;ve been doing some researching for sometime now and a lot of people suggest Itaewon but I wanna party with the locals so I think the university districts around Hongdae is more suitable for this. I%26#39;ll be staying at a motel somewhere in the north side of the river, around hyehwa area so I%26#39;m basically looking for some info on about the names of the hottest clubs and bars around seoul and directions on how to get there. Certainly, as an old fogey who spends a lot of time in Korea, I%26#39;d suggest you go for areas around SNU, logically. However I don%26#39;t recall any clubs there. so logic may not be right.

I think you might do well to go for Gangnam- near the station. This is where people let their hair down, but perhaps not in the way you%26#39;re hoping for... ?Club NB?
