everland

Hi, experts,

Everland is far from Seoul; how long is the travelling time?

Shall we book a hotel nearby Everland or return to Seoul after visiting it till its closure? A friend recommended this place farm-life but i cant derive any info from the site cos it is all in Korean Language.

any recommendation of a resort style if advised to stay near Everland?

thanks

Go to the website and click on %26#39;languages%26#39; at the upper righthand corner... :) Was surprised to read that there was no website in English. Everland is huge and run by Samsung, so there HAS to be a website in English, hehe..

I%26#39;d personally get a hotel in Seoul...even if it takes some time to go and come back..

hi, oceanspray,

sorry that i didnt put my msg clear. i refer to this place called farm life resort which the web is in korean language.

my friend just returned from seoul and she told me that Everland is far from seoul so must stay near everland after visiting it s too late to return to seoul so she recommended farm life resort which she stayed while there.

nevertheless, tk for ur reply

It will usually take about an hour from Seoul to Everland assuming average traffic condition.

Normally, I don%26#39;t think you don%26#39;t need to book a hotel near Everland unless you want to stay until late night in Everland. There are many tourist buses from and to Seoul, and even public buses. I think you should look for some package deal including transportation for your Everland visit.

hi, puha,

noted with thanks.

this will be my 3rd visit.

in the past two times; i took a tour package and was given a few hours both time. when my friend came back from there this june n she told me there was a parade at everland. it shows i missed the parade both times. hence decided to stay longer this time to cover more. i will prefer to return to seoul so that i save time checking in and out of the hotels.

will it be too cold to visit Everland in nov/dec?

Hi,

Oh, so you were not talking about Everland?

Anyway, yes, it will be cold in Nov./Dec., especially at night. Better wear a padded jacket/coat and take a muffler with you. Once you get to Everland, you will see the time for the parade.. or you can access their website.. it%26#39;s the %26#39;Moonlight Parade%26#39; you%26#39;re looking for, I believe. Most Koreans take their car... some from down south come by bus in a group.. so I think you might want to see if there are any group tours available.. transportation may be a prob.

Take the buses above which have the last destination of Everland. You don%26#39;t need to book a resort near Everland.
