I would like to do a tour of the DMZ whilst in South Korea. Can anyone recommend a company to book through? Are any tours better than others (eg. the tour that goes into North Korea etc). Any thoughts or advice welcome.

Try the USO tour; it%26#39;s given in English. There is a web site that offers the calendar for the month to see which days it is offered. I apologize for not noting the specific web site before replying; try Googling USO DMZ tour--bet it will come up.

Just came back from a USO tour to DMZ today. Its cheaper than the other commercial tour companies, but the key parts of the JSA tour are in any case handled by military personnel (both USO or other tours), so it shouldn%26#39;t make too much of a difference I think.

Does the tour guide wear military clothes or normal civilian clothes? So its open for everyone, even non US citizens? How do u find the trip? Is it interesting? Or we can go tour around if its the 3rd time visiting Korea? TIA
