We plan to be in Seoul for 5 days and will mostly travel on subways. It seems like T-money (Standard card price: 1500 won + 500 won to refund if value is %26gt; 2000 won) is a better option compared to Seoul Citypass that costs 15,000 won a 1-day pass.
In my view, probably Citypass would be useful if one intends to travel more than 10 trips in a single day? Since subway fare starts at 1,000 won per trip, right? Comments appreciated.
Also, we are travelling with 2 children (age 3 and 6 years old), do the children need subway tickets?

T-money vs Seoul Citypass for Seoul subway travel
Hi,
Did you know you get unlimited ride of Seoul City Bus Tour with Citypass? If you are not interested on the bus tour then I agree with you that T-money card is better deal for using subways. I think children under 6 travel free. …visitseoul.net/visit2007en/…

The SEOUL Citypass might be the best option if you take advantage of all the other discounts that you
can get around Seoul, just by showing your card.

The SMART T-Money card also can be used not only on the subway, but other places like GS25 (convenience store).
