sorry same old weather ?

I know July and August are not the ideal time to visit South Korea but if i have no other time ,which month is less worse?or if i can go from the 23th or 24th of June for 2 or 3 weeks,is it better?

I have visit Japan during summer time(end of June, beginning of July) and found it quite ok,hot but i can survive and it was not raining the whole 15 days we were there.

Another ?,does travelling in SKorea like in Japan?(we used Japan rail pass, subway, taxi, bus without any much problem)and eating in restaurant by pointing pictures!

Thanks a lot

sorry same old weather ?

The climate of Korea is quite similar to Japan, although when i visited both Japan and Korea in late Aug, I found Korea was bit cooler and less humid than Japan. It hard for me to recommend which month since you may have some left over monsoon rain (humid and hot) in July or scorching heat in Aug. Monsoon rain has been sporadic in recent years (due to global warming) you may luck out in late June.

Seoul%26#39; public transportation (bus, subways and taxis) is just as excellent as Japan with good English signs but with cheaper fares and higher ceiling. You can use T-money card for both subways and bus.(visitkorea.or.kr/enu/1041_Transportation.jsp) Many restaurants have picture menus. It would be nice to study about the food before you go. Since you are planning to go in summer month I would recommend Naengmyeon (Buckwheat noodles in a cold broth) or bingsoo(shaved ice with scoop of ice cream, syrup and fruit toppings).

sorry same old weather ?

Thanks for the information.

Might changing to go to Thailand(not better in term of weather) or take my chance and go ahead cause dont have another option!
