One night in Seoul..

My partner and I will be stopping in Seoul for one night on the way back from Australia at the end of December. Obviously we won%26#39;t have masses of time... but just wondering if there%26#39;s one or two %26#39;must do%26#39; things anyone can recommend, so we can make the most of it?

Cheers people.

One night in Seoul..

I suggest you have a search on this forum to find what to expect. Depends who you fly with: is it a free overnight with KAL or Asiana?

If so, the must see is likely to be the airport, a minibus and your hotel.

Their flights leave Seoul (Incheon: 50 miles/80 km from Seoul city) at 3:30, or thereabouts; the Korea City Air Terminal requires you to check in at 10:30 to make that. I%26#39;m not suggesting you DO go from KCAT, just giving you an idea of the timescales involved.

Many times these airlines put you in a hotel near the airport; it will probably be chilly, perhaps snowing so beware,

If you do get into Seoul I%26#39;d recommend Myeong Dong, Cheongyeccheon, perhaps Namdaemun.

I did it last year: we were late in to ICN; straight to hotel for dinner (horrible Hotel June), to bed; up in morning and back to airport with no time to get out at all.

Sorry!
