I have checked with tour agency %26amp; even email to Sejong hotel. According to them, they do not have any available room on my request dates. I wonder why?Anyway, approximately 70% of my time will be shopping around Myung-dong, Dongdaemun...
From the map, other hotels near-by are Ibis Myeong Dong , Seoul Royal, Seoul Prince, Savoy, Westin Chosun %26amp; Metro. Are there any hotels around Myung-dong or Dongdaemun which I have missed out (probably not reflected on my map)?
Can any kind soul recommand suitable hotels? Appreciate your comments...

if 70% is mostly shopping, then you can choose a guesthouse. save on hotel, splurge on shopping/sighteeing.
have you tried, Savoy hotel, Seoul Prince hotel?

Ibis is another good choice in Myeongdong. Closed to everything with reasonable price. I have stayed there three times and it always has been nice.
