Mid range - top end hotels

Hi,

I am staying in Seoul over the weekend and looking for a nice hotel for my boyfriend and myself. We would like something modern, preferably with a swimming pool and breakfast, but from what i%26#39;ve found this seems to be asking too much for about $120USD.

Any suggestions?

I think we would like to stay in Jung-gu (near Koreana Hotel/President Hotel area)

Deoul is pretty close to Tokyo in hotel price terms. I would think you are out of luck to get much above a 1 star for this price. Sorry.

President is pretty cheap for Seoul; I think you%26#39;d be at $150 without breakfast even for a discount room.

So are there any suggestions of somewhere in the area I can get a modern room and breakfast for 2 for less than USD200? or is this impossible?

Does anyone know anything about popgreen hotel? (I know it%26#39;s not in the same area)

try Ibis: they%26#39;re pretty good- 2 locatoins, one near to your area

Ibis M is about $100, not inc breakfast

try somerset place seoul (about 150usd incl breakfast)

ramada suite %26amp; hotel (110usd without breakfast)

fraser suite seoul (150usd incl breakfast)

they are all good and near city hall.

We stayed at the Ramada last week which included breakfast. I did not pay but I believe the rate was not that high.
