Hotel near Olympic Stadium (jamsil)

Hi,

I will be running the JoongAn Seoul marathon in November. I am looking for a decent hotel near the start area (Olympic stadium). Max distance 2 miles (3k) walking distance from the hotel.

Is Lotte World hotel in the vicinity? I%26#39;m going with my wife so we%26#39;d like to stay somowhere decent and near to subway %26amp; shopping mall.

Should I go with Lotte or is there any other nice, comfy hotel there?

The hotels near Samseong station -COEX mall- would work. I don%26#39;t think Lotte%26#39;s as close.

Intercontinentals, Ibis Gangnam, lots of others there.

The Lotte World hotel is a good hotel, located near Jamsil subway station(Line No.2, Green Line). There is an amusement park for family, called Lotte World (http://www.lotteworld.com/Global_eng/Main.asp).

However, there are some hotels near the Samsung station, and they are closer to the Olympic stadium (Sports Complex station) than Jamsil station. There is also COEX Mall for shopping and food. (http://www.coexmall.com/language/en/)

Are hotels like Intercontinental, Ibis etc within 2 miles from the stadium?

Because it is marathon, I can%26#39;t do a long warm up to get there :)

I am not sure about taxi because of road closure, language and the afct there will be 20,000 runners.

Also, it there a subway near the stadium, if the hotets are 1-2 subway station away and the system start early, then I also don%26#39;t mind.
