I%26#39;ve lived in Korea for several years, and I thought I was pretty in-tune with all the geography of the country. However, while flying to Thailand during my summer vacation, I was a little surprised to see an island out the window that I didn%26#39;t recognize.
I was flying from Incheon to Bangkok on Thai Airways, and we flew down over the south-western province before reaching the sea. I could see all the little islands one would expect to see in that particular area of Korea. However, before totally reaching open water, I saw a little island that was elliptical in shape and had a large beach on most of its southern side. It was the last island in the southern region (aside from Jeju), and I%26#39;m really trying to find some information about it.
After the island, we could see only ocean before flying over Jeju Island. Does anyone know anything about it?
