Hi,
Can I find out if the shopping areas (sinchon, itaewon, yeongdong, namdaemun)are close to each other?
If we take a subway/bus, how long does it usually take?
Thanks =)

Hi JJKorea. Thank you for your help and the link =)
Hi - have just come back from Seoul. Think seriously about taking a taxi around (some of the distances are walkable though). Flag fall is 1900w and it gets you some distance before it even starts to change in price. Cabs are really cheap all over Seoul and we found often cheaper than trying to catch a train or bus. There is also a great get on/get off bus tour - Seoul City Tours or something. It cost $10 for the day and stops at many of the places you mention. You could probably use this. Buses come every 30 mins at each stop. Namdeaemun market was a little disappointing - the same type of thing repeated over and over again at the stalls.
Buses and taxis in Seoul can be a waste of time. Traffic can be horrendous depending on time of day, weather and actual journey taken- whether across town with or across traffic.
Namdaemun and Myeongdong are adjacent. Walk.
Itaewon is probably best by taxi, as you need to go east or west a long way before getting subway line to Itaewon- Namsan is sort of in the way.
Dongdaemun Mkt is worth a look
THanks everyone for your help. Guess I%26#39;ll walk if it%26#39;s a shopping street. =)
BUt I know I can take a taxi if the walking gets too tiring! ;)
