We Arrive in Seoul on Monday 22nd Sept in the morning. We are heading straight out to Seoraksan until going back to Seoul for 4 nights on Friday 26th Sept. Can anyone recommend any places to stay and things to do/walking routes.
Places to stay Seoraksan
Every year many Korean hikers go to seoraksan when the autumn color season comes.
If you really want to see and feel the Seoraksan, go to the peak of it.
The shortest hiking trail to the peak (daecheongbong) of seoraksan is starting at Osaek and going down to Cheonbuldong valley, but this course takes 10-12 hours to finish.
So you should make an early start in the early morning to finish it in a day, or you can stay in a shelter. Some shelters need to reservation to stay.
The Cheonbuldong valley is best known for colorful maples in autumn, but I think it is a little bit early to see the autumn colors while you stay.
The resolution is not so good but refers to the following site
