Anyone knows if there are any shops in Seoul that sell cheap korean drama DVDs like Winter Sonata or other latest shows? How much is it and how do I get there?
Korean Dramas DVDs
It is expensive... But then it will depend on how you define cheap korean drama dvds.
Korean Dramas DVDs
Hi Blossom, do you know if they are dubbed in Mandarin with english subtitles? I am going there in a few weeks time and my daughter and I are real korean soapie fans so I would be looking out for these too. ck-mal, wouldn%26#39;t it be cheaper to buy in KL, especially winter sonata as they have been around for awhile? I will be stopping in KL too so if you know where I can buy them, please share them with me. appreciate it. thanks
Bibster2005 ~ it would be definately cheaper in Kuala Lumpur, if you do drop by there, you can go to Sungai Wang ( the last my friend inform me... at level 1... the back part and i think the top floor... dun think you can miss it )
You can ask for discount if you buy more than one or two set and most comes with subtitle and korean audio.
In Seoul, its a tad too high since its not produce for foreign market as they can watch over tv or re-run.
The drama you buy there may not get translated ones or with subtitles. KL will be cheaper .
Hi Bibster, I bought a few Korean dramas DVD from S%26amp;M Shopping Arcade opposite Petaling Street in KL for RM15. These are from China and comes in only two DVDs for 16 episodes. Surprisingly the quality is very good. It%26#39;s dubbed in Mandarin with English subtitles. The price is already very cheap and I was just curious if it could be any cheaper in Korea that%26#39;s why i asked. Looks like it%26#39;s better for me to get it locally.
Bibster, though the DVDs are in English subtitles, the translation is very poor. Sometimes it carries a totally different meanings. For me I understand both Mandarin and English so I do not mind, but it is very entertaining to read the subtitles, if you know what I mean....haha.
