We are hosting a Korean Family for one day and night this weekend. I know there will be a father, mother and daughter with other siblings possibly. They have been here in the states visitng for a few weeks. Any suggestions on specific customs, hobbies, activities that we might observe for arrange for their visit here. It is very hot here and we had considered taking them swimming the out for a boat ride on a lake close by. Any suggestions on maybe what to cook for dinner and breakfast. We would just like to make their trip a memorable one, any suggestions appreciated.

I think the boat ride would be nice. Not sure about swimming...especially for the mom. Most Koreans/Asian women do not like to be exposed to the sun and if they had to be, not without SPF 100!...very damaging to the skin. As for food, hard to say.. everyone is different but I would assume that any food you would normally cook for dinner/breakfast would be appreciated and regardless of what that might be, I%26#39;m sure it will be memorable as it%26#39;s not something they would normally eat in Korea.

NYC_UpperWestsiders,
Thanks for the post. I was able to text them and they requested the boat ride. I think we have the meals and other activities nailed down now. Plan to
take them 4 wheeling as well thru the woods. Thanks again.
