First Time to Seoul

Hi,

I%26#39;ll be going to Seoul in mid Sep. But after looking thru a number of websites, I%26#39;m still very blurred about Seoul. Hope to get some help here.

Seoul is broken into many areas, eg Myeong-dong, COEX, Gangseo, Yeouido, ... So which area should I stay in to get, as far as possible,

1. safe area (most important)

2. easy access to attractions and shoppings

3. not too expensive accomodations

4. nite activities

First Time to Seoul

Maybe you can consider Myeondong and or Dongdaemun. This are the shopping area for those who likes to shop, eat and just hang out.

There are some hotels and Guesthouse around Myeondong which is close to Subway.

Hotels are usuallly expensive ( still depend on how ones define not too ex....) maybe if you are looking for a clean place, with bathroom attach just to come back sleep and clean up, then a guesthouse would do... But if you have more to dish out, then a hotel would be great!

Night activities.... well... plenty in seoul if you know where to look.
