currency issues

I will be touring south korea this october. my concerns are:

1. i always use my international ATM card when I travel, withdrawing from ATMs with Cirrus signs on it. Are there ATMs in the airport where Cirrus cards can be used for international cards? Are there ATMs with global service near Sejong Hotel?

2. How much is the limit in every successful ATM withdrawal? Since the currency in S Korea is 1,000.00 per US Dollar, it%26#39;s going to be very bulky withdrawing USD500.00, right?

3. When I leave South Korea, and I need to change my Won to US Dollar, do we need to show receipts before it can be changed back to dollar and its worth beyond USD 100.00? I read somewhere that it is required to show the receipt initially changing dollar to won before our won can be changed back to dollar, otherwise, we are only entitled to USD 100?

Hi..

You can find Korea Exchange Bank {Basement 01}on Gate 05 in Incheon airport or Kookmin bank ATM%26#39;s to withdraw cash using your Cirrus card.

Please check with your local bank as they would be in best position to inform you about the Overseas withdrawable limit per day !

Its advisable to keep your Forex receipts as it might help you reconvert the currency at the time of departure. The best thing would be to do the exchange not in bulk so as to use whenever required.

If you wish to come and stay outside and very close to Incheon airport then please look at this www.hoteljune.com

This is an recognised tourist hotel located at just 8 mins from airport and provides free airport transfers. Hotel offers Free In room PC and also free high speed internet can be accesssed. The hotel is surrounded by large departmental store LOTTE MART {like Wal-Mart} and many restaurants.
