Winter vs Autumn Tour

I%26#39;m planning to join a package tour to Korea for a week, wonder if autumn (Oct) or winter (Dec) is a better season to go? How cold (temperature) is the weather from 18 - 25 Dec?

Winter package/itinery is:

Day 1 -

Chunsheon %26amp; Namiseom Island / shopping at Myeong-dong Street %26amp; Road to Happiness

Day 2 -

Mt Sorak Ski Resort /Hot Spring, Shinheung Temple

Day 3 -

Suwon/Waseong Fortress, Everland, Nanta Show

Day 4 -

War Museum, Hanok Village, shop at Nyeongdong %26amp; Shin Chun Women%26#39;s Street.

Day 5 -

Seoul Tower, World Aquarium, shop at Dongdaemun %26amp; Insadong Market, Themepark Lotte World.

Day 6 -

Blue House, World Cup Stadium, Dong Cong Ha Cho, Ginseng Centre %26amp; Purple Crystal.

If we can extend 2 more days in Seoul, what are the place we can go/ do on Christmas Eve %26amp; Day? Normally will there be snowing during this time?

Is it possible to go for free %26amp; easy tour in winter?

All feedback/suggestion are welcomed. Thanks.

Winter vs Autumn Tour

Hello!

Each season has its own unique beauty. But easier to travel in fall. Because it%26#39;s quite cold and windy in Winter here. And Korea%26#39;s fall is really beautiful, with crystal clear sky, clear air, and beaufitul streets with autumn leaves.

I recommend you to have Dalk kalbi, spicy chicken dish and walnut cakes in Chuncheon. I guess your schedule on the fifth day in Seoul would be quite busy and hectic. Also many foreign visitors shop at Namdaemun shopping district, as there are numerous goods, both Korean traditional and imported from diverse countries. (from Malaysia, as well :D)

How about visit Korean traditional palaces? Gyeongbokgung Palace is the biggest and magnificent one of the Chosun Dynasty. Or you can enjoy beautiful autumn leaves and weather at the Duksugung Palace. Also, you can walk from Myeongdong to Cheonggye Liver to Insadong.

(If you visit Korea in winter) During the Christmas holidays, central Seoul areas across Cenggye Liver are beautifully decorated with lights. So you can enjoy nightlife in Seoul as well.

I hope my reply is useful:D

Winter vs Autumn Tour

Thankyou moonliver...

Is there anywhere we can experience snowfall in Dec?

Usually, all regions except Jeju Island(southernmost island) enjoy snow in winter. Particularly Gangwon(eastern) province has a lot of snow.. (Mt Sorak is located there.) Seoul snows too, by the way. And near Seoul there are some ski resorts where you can enjoy “artificial” snow. Hope you%26#39;ll find my answer satisfying :D

Would there be snowing in Seoul during christmas? Many thanks!
