Best flight prices for Flight from MSP to ICN in July?

I am traveling from MSP to ICN in July, 2008 and am wondering what the average price is for flying during the first week of July. I have checked many different travel sites and the average is around $1100.00. Is this a good price, or could it go down to $800.00? Any suggestions or tips would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I would say grab the tickets now. With gas prices the way they are its hard to think it will go down from there. May I ask what sites you are able to get those rates? I%26#39;ve been checking rates from ATW and ORD to ICN for the same time and I%26#39;m getting about !$1600.00...ouch!!

Thanks for the tip! I%26#39;ve checked almost every online travel site I could think of. Now, I am using a travel agent and they found me a great student fare, since I am still a student until the end of June. But this is only a one way, and my employer wants me to get a 1 year open, which is very expensive.

I%26#39;m not sure about prices from the US, but reagrding one way or round trip issue, I think you better buy round trip since the price of air ticket for one way is not that cheap and the price from Korea to US is generally much higher than US to Korea.

Stay clear of NW.

Why not NW? My travel agent is acually looking at this carrier as having the best price.

Flight price was $755.00 total for the one way. Not bad at all, considering most are now around $1,000.00 and up.
